I was born and raised in the Chicago area and am a lifelong Cubs fan. I saw the light and moved south with my husband down to The Woodlands, Texas in 1997 when he became the youth pastor at Fellowship Bible Church (now FBC). We have three grown children, Karissa who is married to Cody, lives in Arkansas and works as a counselor, Kirsten who is working and living in college station, and Joshua who is a junior at Texas A&M (whoop!).
I completed my Master’s in clinical social work in 1990 but stayed home with our three children until our youngest started school and I then began to counsel part time in 2001.
I count it as one of my greatest privileges and responsibilities to listen to the struggles of individuals and couples and point them to the healing power of Jesus and his Word and relational truths.
I love watching and playing sports, reading, traveling, hanging with friends and family and listening to people.
