Adult Communities

What are they?
Adult Communities are ongoing adult classes that meet on Sunday mornings during our two service times (9:00 & 10:40 AM).  This is a great place for you to connect more deeply with others in the church and to discover what the Bible has to say about life issues.

How do I get started?
Just plan to attend a group that looks interesting to you, and make sure to let some people in the class know that you are new.  Grab a brochure in our church lobbies or check below for the most recent listing of our adult communities.

Adult Communities
9:00 A.M. Adult Communities

Parents of Little Ones (POLO) - Led by Phil Wegner; B – 211
"Intentional" Families - So...you started having kids and things just got crazy? Surviving the Preschool to Elementary ages as parents is going to require some serious intentionality. We're going to have to do things on purpose in our walk with the Lord, spouses, kids and in the broader communities at church, school and our neighborhood. POLO is a place to find support, encouragement and, this semester, an intentional answer to the craziness we all experience as Parents Of Little Ones.

Family Matters - Led by Rob Kase & Russ Stolle; B-205
Family Matters is where adults build community and grow in gracious living as a member of the Family of God. Encouraging each other to live lives of big faith surrendered to God is a class value. We use a variety of topical studies and devote time in prayer and relationships Come join us on the road to gracious living in the body of Christ!

Explorers - Led by Don & Rhonda Ortolano; B - 203
We invite everyone, regardless of life stage (single, married, or married with children, etc.) to join us as we explore the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. Our primary goal is to apply His teachings to our everyday life. We desire to have a “good time” in the Christian walk, while encouraging each other to stand firm in the interesting times we live in.

Fellowship Class - Led by Randy Howard & Mark Prebish; B- 202
The Life of Christ. Our study is focused on deepening our relationship with Christ through a better understanding of the life and times of Jesus’ ministry on earth. The Class offers Bible study and prayer. The informal atmosphere provides a great opportunity to meet other church members. Our social activities away from church are an excellent way to deepen the bonds of Christian friendship.

Oasis Single Parent Community - Led by Alan & Linda Kibble; A -227
Oasis is an adult community just for single parents. Solid biblical teachings about issues of particular interest to single parents’ along with fellowship, fun, sharing and support. Oasis is a safe place, full of grace, accepted as you are. All single parents are welcome. Hope you’ll join us!

10:40 A.M Adult Communities

Feasting on the Word - Led by Miles Tompkins; B-203

Joint Heirs - Led by Brad Eaton; B - 204
We are beginning a new study of the Kings of Israel; Samuel through Chronicles. We are a seasoned group of believers focusing on sound teaching, life application and strong supportive fellowship seeking to make a difference in our life and lives we come in contact with. All ages welcome.

Kindred Spirits - Led by Kem Oberholtzer; B - 211-212
The Epistle of Hebrews – This is a verse-by- verse study of the Epistle of Hebrews. This epistle is one of the most magnificent in the New Testament weaving the prophetic Hebrew Scriptures with a return of “Messiah” and its relevance for today’s Church. The class has small groups, fellowship, prayer and great interaction. Join us for a greater understanding of God’s Word and deeper walk in your spiritual life.

Young Marrieds - Led by Brian & Tina Trimble; B - 201
This community is a great connecting place for young couples in their 20’s and 30’s. Our hope is to strengthen marriages and encourage couples to connect with each other and God.
