We speak of our church as a family because that is the way God sees us. We long to be a church that resembles our city in diversity but is, even more so, unified in a life-giving preoccupation with Jesus Christ. We are all about Jesus. We are also imperfect, real, vulnerable, and authentic people. We journey together through joys and trials, worshiping, praying, and living life together. This is the beautiful responsibility of the church.
Faith Bible Church is a family. We use the language of family and try our best to treat each other like family. We want you to feel like you're part of our family, whether you're planning your first visit, or you've been attending for a while without really getting connected. Community is the big spring board into the fullest expression of what it means to be a healthy part of a church family. You can find community in several ways here at Faith, and perhaps more than one.
Ministry is another word for service. While a church family is not primarily about providing services, we fully embrace the joyful role of service to the families in our church and the people of our city. We also value simplicity, so the various ministries of Faith Bible are aimed at Biblical discipleship, key needs, critical life-stages, and urgent issues in our city and culture.
Living life on mission is the same as following Jesus, because He is the ultimate missionary. Mission is not a scary or distant idea. Whether across the street or across a culture, part of discipleship is mission. Here at Faith Bible, local and international mission is an extremely high value. We generously support diverse Jesus-centered work in our city and around the world. Go with us.
Following Jesus is much more than just attending a worship service on Sunday. It includes every moment of every day. In order to equip you for that journey we offer various ministries, a calendar of gathering points and, here, a library of various resources for your personal maturity and spiritual growth.
A church is much more than a calendar or collection of events. A church is a diverse family with diverse stories. In order to experience the joy of this diversity, our church family often has lots of gatherings. Some serve to collect the whole family, while others may serve specific needs.
We are thankful for this past year and are excited to share with you all God has accomplished at Faith Bible!
